L'attore Donald Glover ha presentato al Saturday Night Live, di cui era conduttore nella serata di sabato, la sua nuova canzone This Is America. La star, con il nome di Childish Gambino, è infatti attiva da anni nel mondo della musica rap e R&B.
Ad attirare l'attenzione dei media e dei fan è stato però il video realizzato per il brano che affronta molte tematiche legate alle notizie di cronaca e alla società contemporanea.

Sullo schermo vengono mostrate delle sequenze che fanno riferimento al dibattito sull'uso delle armi, alla brutalità della polizia, ai mezzi di comunicazione che non offrono un'informazione corretta, e alle stragi avvenute a causa dell'uso delle armi.

For the people who didn't understand childish gambino's video & is only focusing on his dancing is just mind blowing. It clearly shows the violence that is currently going on in America, the people entertaining viral dance moves instead of what's really happening & so much more.
