Due giorni fa ci ha lasciati Milos Forman, l'acclamato regista di Qualcuno volò sul nido del cuculo e Amadeus, film per i quali vinse l'Oscar. Dopo una breve malattia, sua moglie Martina ha confermato la notizia della scomparsa alle agenzie stampa. Regista anche di Hair (1979), Valmont (1989), Larry Flynt - oltre lo scandalo (1996), vincitore dell'Orso d'Oro a Berlino nel 1997, e Man on the moon (1999), con Jim Carrey nei panni del comico Andy Kaufman, Forman è stato salutato da diverse personalità di Hollywood.
Primo tra tutti proprio quel Jim Carrey che grazie alla performance guidata dal maestro ceco ha portato a casa l'ambito Golden Globe al Miglior Attore, che ha definito il loro lavoro insieme "un'esperienza monumentale":
